Balcony or patio growhouses

What can you do for the plants on your balcony when there are frosts? Solution number one is to put all your plants in the middle of your living room - not a good idea. Solution number two is to use a growhouse specially designed for reduced spaces - a much better idea.

Balcony growhouse for cold-sensitive plants

A growhouse is an essential garden tool for peace of mind through the winter. No need
to worry about what to do to stop your plants from getting frostbite when it is cold.

But what can you do if you live in a flat, with a balcony or patio?
Some in-the-know gardeners have designed balcony or patio growhouses specially
adapted for reduced spaces. These mini greenhouses are ideal for seedlings and cuttings
and for overwintering plants.

- The Greenseason 4 has been perfectly adapted for holding cold-sensitive plants on a patio in the winter. Its frame is resistant to poor weather and its PVC cover filters the sun's rays. The zip front opening makes it easy to lift plants in and out and is also useful for aerating plants and stopping the damp from accumulating.

- The Balcony 3 and 4 range is the ideal solution for storing pot plants on shelves.
These growhouses have three or four shelves, a PVC cover and an additional winter
fleece cover (Balcony + cover model).

- Top tip: use a Thermoflex warming cable that activates as soon as the temperature falls
below 5°.

Once you have set it up, your plants will be nice and snug. Why not relax indoors with a
coffee and appreciate being able to look at them outside in their protective winter
bubble rather than in the middle of the room.
